Description

About the DP-30k Oscilloscope Differential Voltage Probe

The DP‑30K differential voltage probe is an essential tool for engineers working in power electronics, high‑voltage systems and industrial energy‑conversion applications. Designed for safe, accurate and isolated measurements. The DP‑30K allows high‑potential signals to be measured using any DAQ, oscilloscope or data recorder, while keeping the oscilloscope securely grounded. This makes it ideal for applications where standard single‑ended probes cannot be used due to grounding limitations or elevated voltage levels.

The DP‑30K enables reliable differential and floating (isolated) measurements across a wide range of AC power systems, including 460V/230V/110V AC input power supplies, chopped and switching power supplies, thyristor controllers, variable‑speed motor drives (PWM signals), motor inrush current and current‑shunt measurements. Its isolated input is provided through two 4mm safety banana sockets, ensuring secure and safe connection to high‑voltage test points.

For seamless integration with test equipment, the DP‑30K features a BNC output, allowing quick and reliable connection to oscilloscopes and DAQ systems. The probe can be powered by either a battery or an external power supply, offering flexibility for both laboratory and field environments.

With its high input impedance, strong common‑mode noise rejection and robust insulation, the DP‑30K delivers clean, accurate waveform capture even in noisy, high‑EMI switching environments. This makes it a trusted solution for R&D labs, industrial maintenance teams, academic programs and system validation engineers who require safe floating measurements, high‑voltage differential accuracy and dependable oscilloscope performance.
