The Powertek Ptk-FCM and Ptk-SFC series static frequency converters are a popular AC power converter designed to change AC Power 50Hz to 60Hz, 60Hz to 50Hz or convert 50/60Hz utility power to 400Hz. Also available are specialist conversions to 16.67Hz/25Hz/100Hz. Our Ptk-FCM and Ptk-SFC series static converters utilize a built-in rectifier, converting incoming AC power into DC, then inverting the DC into required frequency and voltage based on IGBT switching and a built-in isolation transformer. The Ptk-FCM series has many advantages, making them ideal for export product testing or operational test of imported equipment with a variety of command and control interfaces. Applications such as the testing of military/avionics equipment, typically 400Hz electronics operated in aircraft, where maximum and minimum conditions are simulated. For aircraft ground power, fixed wing and helicopter applications, GPU or a military vessels, a variety of formats are possible including combination 28Vdc/3ph 400Hz GPUs
