Powertek’s Maritime Static Frequency Converters provide reliable, regulated AC power for shipboard, marine and offshore applications where the available electrical supply does not match the voltage or frequency requirements of the connected equipment. Powertek Maritime Static Frequency Converters use IGBT PWM technology to provide precise control of the output voltage and frequency. Transformer isolation can also be incorporated to provide electrical separation between the input supply and connected loads.

For installations where environmental conditions are a consideration, the converters can be supplied with options including IP54 enclosures, conformal coating and enhanced protection against humidity, condensation, salt spray and dust. Protection and monitoring features help provide safe and dependable operation, with options available for remote control, monitoring and communications.
