The MC133 master unit model is a single phase electric power/energy calibrator. It can supply the device under test with single phase precise voltage and current with calibrated phase shift along with DC voltage and current capability. Output voltage can be set in five ranges up to 280V and output current in six ranges up to 30A. Simulated electric power can be set independently for each phase. Frequency can be set from 15Hz to 1 kHz with resolution 0.001Hz to 0.01Hz. The MC133 Calibrator is equipped with 5 1/2 digital DC meter with DC ranges 20mA or 10V for direct calibration of various types of power transducers and wattmeters.
The MC133 calibrator offers two types of user selected distortion for ts main sinusoidal output signal. The first distortion is based on adding a defined amount of harmonic or inter-harmonic spectral components up to 5kHz. The second type of distortion is based on amplitude modulation of output sinusoidal signal by sine or square-wave modulation signal from 0.001Hz to 50Hz. Maximum depth of modulation is 30%.
Three-phase electric power/energy calibration system can be optionally built-up using one MC133 master unit and two MC133f slave units. The slave units contain power stages of each additional phase output. They are fully controlled from the master unit via a rear panel special interface. Maximum output voltage between two voltage phases is 560VAC. Current outputs can be joined together offering total amps of 90A AC/DC.
Accuracy of power is calculated from value of voltage, current and power factor
Active power (W): dP = square root (dU2 + dI2 + dPF2 + 0.012) [%]
Reactive power (VAr): dP = square root (dU2 + dI2 + dPF*2 + 0.012) [%]
Apparent power (VA): dP = square root (dU2 + dI2 + 0.012) [%]
